Access control systems provide businesses with an effective deterrent against criminals walking into offices, driving into buildings or vandalising property in car parks, while still allowing authorised visitors and employees to circulate freely.
Access control comes in many forms, from audio intercoms to video entry systems, swipe card readers to biometric systems, electric gates to rising bollards. Whatever your requirements, Chris Lewis Fire & Security experts can advise you on the right technology for your needs and create a bespoke solution to enable you to define granular access criteria and prevent unauthorised access to company assets, business-sensitive data and employees’ personal possessions.
We can advise you on how to make the most of your investment, designing a system that will enable you not only to control which rooms and buildings your staff and visitors can access, but also to tie in with realtime staff attendance information. And because we keep up to date with all the latest technologies, products and legislation – including the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act – we’ll create the best possible access control system for your business.
We can also integrate your access control system with other aspects of your security and fire system. Get in touch with us and see what we can do to control access to your business.

A: Outdoor wind and sun can easily affect the surface temperatures of human bodies and the working status of the camera, which results in a deviation between the measured body surface temperature and the actual body temperature. To ensure the accuracy, we strongly recommend applying the solutions indoors.
A: No. At present, cameras with accuracy higher than ±0.5℃ require real-time calibration with a blackbody and intelligent compensation. The accuracy of a blackbody calibrator is currently ±0.1℃. So it is impossible to achieve ±0.1℃ accuracy by the cameras. Solutions with higher accuracy ±0.3℃ are available.
A: The camera detects human bodies when screening. It supports up to 30 persons at a time. But still we recommend to carry out temperature measurement person by person.
A: The cameras are able to use human body detection technology, so other heat sources will not cause false alarms.
A: The cameras need to be warmed up before using. Turn them on and wait for 5 minutes (handheld camera), 30 minutes (bullet / turret camera).
A: Only supported by high-end models (TP21B). Not supported by economical models (TP31B).
