Chris Lewis was commissioned to design and install a sophisticated outdoor wide-view CCTV setup to monitor the car park across the working day, in the out-of-office hours and over the weekend, enabling the park managers to monitor vehicles and people on-site at all times.
After a spate of incidents involving young troublemakers, late night loiterers and vandals in the retail car park, Fairacres required a solution that enabled them to deter antisocial behaviour and react quickly if such activities arised. The site management team requested to have ANPR intelligence featured so that they could easily record, store and identify certain vehicle number plates to assist them in filing police reports.
The lecture theatre at UKAEA’s Culham site hasnot been upgraded since 1982. The brief was to bring the space into the 21st century by designing and installing a hybrid conferencing facility for meetings both within the theatre and online, where guests would be able to join remotely from all corners of the world.

We were contracted to design and install an integrated home automation system for a property. It needed to include lighting, security, audio and HD TV satellite distribution, which was controlled via an iPad. The property received a lot of interest and sold quickly.
The College operated an analogue CCTV system with hard-wired cameras that were recording onto two hard disk recorders. When its new accommodation block was being planned it was decided to install an IP CCTV system and upgrade the entire system.
