Securing your business assets
Renowned for our speed, trustworthiness, and professional attitude, Chris Lewis will always be on hand to protect and safeguard your business when you can’t.
With everything from locking up to checking on alarms in the middle of the night, we will be here when you need us most.
By entrusting Chris Lewis with a set of keys to your business, we can efficiently access your premises or vacant property in an emergency. In the event of a break-in and an alarm sounding, we will send trained professionals to investigate the scene, determining the cause and solving the situation in the best way possible, so you won't have to. Plus, with a proactive response as well as a reactive service, our team will perform regular drive-by checks of your premises to check they're safe & sound when you're not around.
What does key holding involve?
Firstly, we will inspect your premises, conducting a full site survey, familiarising ourselves with the layout of the building and discovering the best locations for your alarms and sensors to be placed. We determine the best approach to take should the worst happen.
You will give us a set of keys to your business, which we will keep safe within our own facilities, only for use if an emergency occurs. Our security officers will then give you a receipt in return to confirm this transition has taken place.
In the event of an alarm being activated, our alarm response service will send trained members of our team with the keys to investigate. When at your site we will evaluate the cause of the alarm activating, acting upon anything we encounter as quickly and efficiently as possible. Should this be a genuine emergency in which a fire has broken out or the business has been broken into, our team will alert the emergency services accordingly and also you as the business owner, making sure the situation is well under control.
If a false alarm is triggered, which we will only establish upon entering the premises, a member of our professional security team will reset your alarm, secure your business, and leave, putting the keys back into the safe storage they were kept in previously.
Whether a false alarm or a genuine one, we will complete a report on the incident, sending all the information to the business owner through email within 24 hours of the occurrence.
We can send a member of staff round to check over your business at closing time, ensure all doors and windows are locked and set your security system so you don't have to rely on your staff to do this. This is an excellent service for multi-tennanted buildings where there is no single business responsible for the security of the building.
“We have a long-standing relationship with Chris Lewis Fire & Security and we greatly value their product and technical knowledge, and their professionalism. They provide a very efficient call-out service if we experience a problem and their engineers are always very friendly and efficient.”
“Because of the size and nature of the building our security requirements were extensive. The solution implemented by Chris Lewis Fire & Security is highly intuitive and has delivered the level of protection required.
