A Luxurious Modern Family Home
The homeowners of this luxurious and modern North Buckinghamshire home contracted Chris Lewis Group to transform their brand new property into the ultimate family living space.
The Challenge
The owners were looking for us to design, install and integrate a complete network of smart home technology. Included in the brief was audio-visual systems, lighting, temperature control, security and fire protection devices. As one of the owners is a frequent traveller, this security system needed to add an extra layer of assurance, enabling him to both monitor and control the home remotely.
Due to the size of the property, they also needed a centralised control hub, so the entire home could be managed from a single device. The system also had to be fully integrated with current technology, while being easy to adapt with future upgrades.
The Solution
The Chris Lewis Group engineers installed a bespoke, full suite of smart systems that complemented the stunning home’s aesthetic, bringing the clients’ vision to life. Everything from the impressive home cinema to the precisely tailored Lutron lighting control was designed to be integrated via the centralised Control4 system.
This resulted in extremely intuitive and convenient touch control that linked the devices together and ensured the system was accessible for the whole family. We also set up external smart Hikvision surveillance cameras and a Texecom intruder alarm system to protect the property around the clock – much to the clients’ satisfaction.
The Tech Stack
The system incorporated a Control4 system managed on tablets and mobile devices, a Hikvision smart CCTV system and Texecom intruder alarm, a state-of-the-art home cinema system with 4K Epson projector, automatic entrance gate and garage door, a Lutron-powered automated lighting system, and a Kentec fire alarm and detection system.
The Result? A very happy client.
