We work for prestigious clients like the University of Oxford, Royal Palaces and County Councils.
You’ll be responsible for working with the sales team to generate innovative and high specification fire and security designs for our major clients. Putting together exciting, bespoke sales presentations to wow our clients with our design proposals to set ourselves apart from the competition. You’ll then be responsible for turning the concept into a reality for our installations team to install, providing technical design support all the way through to completion.
We are looking for someone who would like to design high-end, integrated security systems or fire alarm systems for large commercial projects. We work regularly with high net-worth individuals who require the very latest in security technology that is easy to use and ultra-secure.
You will require experience in the industry and technical and product knowledge of how fire and security systems work.
Within our group we also have a smart home and networking division and there will be opportunities to expand your knowledge into Smart Technology, Networking and Lighting Control programming.

What we are expecting from you
Produce detailed and exciting concept design proposals for our client for Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV Systems, Perimeter Protection Systems, Fire Alarm Systems and Security Command and Control Systems.
Support the sales team with technical advice including compliance requirements to the relevant industry standards
Produce detailed design drawings in CAD for the project management team
Vet quotations and designs before they are passed to the delivery team once won.
Technically review the equipment specified by sales team and engineers before carrying out the work to ensure an efficient and quality installation
Meet with suppliers to ensure we are using the most up to date products and liaise with Operations Manager on feedback on new and existing products proposed
Provide design support to sub-contractors and engineers installing on site
Report to Senior Management on opportunities for efficiency and margin improvements
